ipod touch jailbreak

    hi all can someone help me i have a ipod 32gb touch firmware 4.2.1 and i want to jailbreak it.
    1. can it be done
    2. is it safe
    3. where do i go to get it done
    4. whats the best

    so far the only jailbreak for the 4.2.1 is tether that means you have to connect to the computer everytime you are gonna restart your device, i did my ipad and i can't turn it off, or i can do any updates that require rebooting the device, you can google jailbreak 4.2.1

    ye i done it a couple days ago but sometimes when i try to restart it crashes on me and i am stuck with the apple logo and have to fix using itunes.
    so what you are saying i have to PLUG INTO COMPUTER every time i restart.
