    Hello,

I have an Apple 5th Generation 60gig Video iPod.

I have a Memorex Mi8000BLK iFlip 8.4-Inch Portable Video System for the iPod

iFlip is A Portable video system with built-in universal iPod dock for viewing movies and more.

It has a 8.4-inch widescreen LCD display with selectable aspect ratio and 480 x 234 resolution.

Also a 300 cd/m2 brightness rating, 350:1 contrast ratio, and 75-degree horizontal viewing angle.

I want to convert my movie collection into iPod format.

I have a software program that converts my DVD's, Videos & YouTube content into iPod Format.

My problem is the program has 13 iPod formats to output to:

    iPod (320x249) MPEG-4 Normal (*.mp4)
    iPod Video2 (640x408) MPEG-4 Normal (*.mp4)
    iPod Touch MPEG-4 (*.mp4)
    iPod Touch MPEG-4 480p (*.mp4)
    iPod Touch MPEG-4 Extra (*.mp4)
    iPod Touch MPEG-4 (480x320) (*.mp4)
    iPod Touch MPEG-4 (320x240) (*.mp4)
iPod Touch MPEG-4 Wide Screen (*.mp4)
    iPod Video2 for TV (*.mp4)
    iPod (320x240) MPEG-4 Excellent (*.mp4)
    iPod Video2 (640x480) MPEG-4 Excelleny (*.mp4)
    iPod (320x240) MPEG-4 Mini (*.mp4)
    iPod (640x408) MPEG4 Mini (*.mp4)

Which output choice is going to give me the best view on my 8.4in LCD
    screen?

Which output choice is going to give me the best view on my 36in 16x9 W/S HDTV using a Griffin TuneCenter Home Media Center for iPod?

    Thanks

Hello, the ipod video format 320x264 is is the standard size and it will work great on your portable video player, if you are going to hook that video player to a tv, i suggest 640x480 it will give you a better pic. your video player will play any format as long as they can be played on the ipod, Good luck.
