hey guys ive just been given an ipod as a present by my girlfriend and have sort of figured out how to use it, putting songs on anyway. However ive got some ali g and dave chapelle videos i have on windows media player that i want to put on there and can't do it. Tried all that stuff you guys have recommended in the newbies read this section but no luck. ' Any ideas Cheers
if this helps when i create a file with cucusoft, then i try and open it and it says error -37 a bad filename or volume name was encountered any help would be much appreciated
If they are playing in windows media player that means they are most likely .wmv files, which the iPod won't support. Which means you need to convert them which you seemed to have figured out being you are using Cucusoft. Anyway, so this error occurs when you open the file, or after you try and convert and save? I would suggest either way naming the file something short and simple without any stranger characters. You can then rename it in iTunes to whatever you please.
