My ipod hasnt turned off in like a week now. I hold the play/pause button and nothing happens, it wont turn off. Anyone know why? Thanks for the help in advance guys.
To reset your iPod, press the select and menu buttens at the same timw, this will reboot your iPod and solve your problem. If that doesnt work, restore your iPod w/ the updater, this will erase you iPod completly but return it back to factory settings.
i have had this problem as well, if it happens i have the sleep choice on my main menu and that seems to turn it off when ever the play/hold dosn't
I hope you aren't holding the play/pause button? Your supposed to press the menu and select button (middle button in the wheel). Try making sure your pressing the menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, not near the center & also sometimes the case slips out of alignment with the scroll wheel.. try rubbing the wheel firmly for a few seconds, see if anything slips back into place.
