Ok, so IQ tests really don't tell you anything, but I got a good score and I want to know what you get (38 questions, score is emailed)

    http://www.iqtest.com/

*Ignore the "complete analysis offer" after you're finished, your score should be in your mailbox.

IQ tests can tell you what level you are at if you take a certified one. They take forever though. I had to take one in 4th grade to see if I was qualified for our school's gifted education. I think the cut off IQ was 135, and I think I got 134. They let me in anyway . . .

I'll take it just for fun though to see how they compare.

iq means nothing until they start testing at job interviews and require that you put it on your resume.

Wowsers, first relationship I have ever had when the man was smarter than me. I think I feel a little jealous . . . I'll get over it. I need to go get to learning more . . .

Kidding, I know IQ has nothing to do with how smart a person is, it's how one comprehends and understands stuff.

I did take another IQ test on tickle.com (i know it's crap)and here are the results:
Lola, your Super IQ score is 141

Your overall intelligence quotient is the result of a scientifically-tested formula based on how many questions you answered correctly. But it's only part of what we learned about you from your answers on the test. We also determined the way you process information.

The way you think about things makes you a Complex Intellectual. This means you are highly intelligent and have extraordinarily strong verbal and math skills. Compared to others you are a highly conceptual and complex thinker and are able to understand information in an abstract form. You also show great attention to detail. In fact, it's hard to find something you're not good at.

How did we determine that your thinking style is that of a Complex Intellectual? When we examined your test results further, we analyzed how you scored on 8 dimensions of intelligence: spatial, organizational, abstract reasoning, logical, mechanical, verbal, visual and numerical. The 3 dimensions you scored highest on combine to make you a Complex Intellectual. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities.

    Anyway:
    JFK's was 177.
    Einstein's was 188.
    George Bush's IQ is 98.

average is anywhere between 85 (generally the lowest allowed in regular public school classes) and 115.

You should try the IQ test that is advertised. It's pretty easy.

IQ of the average American is 80-100 approx. I've taken a few and I must say that they can differ greatly. First one I took I got a 140, then I took one meant for people who scored over 130 on standard tests and got a 124. That had a lot of really tough word association stuff (xxxx is to yyyy as aaaa is to ????), words I never heard of and I don't really think that makes you dumber than the next guy (or gal). Then I took another one a few months later and got a 152, that one was simple though.

I think the online ones are easier than real IQ tests, they tell you that you have a really high IQ to get you to buy the "analysis or your learning style" or whatever, when you should already know what your learning style is.

What I think matters is how fast you pick up on stuff, anyone can fill their brain with useless facts and get on Jeopardy.
