irfanview photo viewer is causing problem - when I used to click on a jpg - it used to open Automatically with irfanview - Now it opens a New window and asks Stupid question - Do U want to Open this file ? - this is a problem it started doing recently - How do I get to open all jpg automatically without opening this questioning window ??
In Control Panel, open Default Programs. Click on " Associate a file....................." Find .jpg. If Current Program is not Infraview, change it. I suggest doing the same with .jpe and .jpeg.
It's been a while since I've used irfanview but what you're probably running into is a file association issue. Go to any jpg file, right click on it, choose properties from the menu. Then where it says "open with," check to see if it's irfanview. If not then click "change," and a list of options will appear. From the list choose irfanview and click Okay. That should fix it.
