I'm currently living in the kildare region & around my area they upgraded our mmds analogue to digitial connection. They still left the aerial on my roof & some of the old equipment. The most important thing is the signal should i be able pick analogue up?
Take the card out of your old box and if it says ntl on it you can use it, if it says chorus on it you need a different box. Thats not a booster its a power supply for your aerial
or maybe ur asking can u use ur old box with old system,depends what they cut and removed,possible i would say.
