I am a return user and I havnt tried to back up a movie in a long time. About a year ago I tried and failed to back up the movie Ironman. I belive I used SHRINK-DVDFab6(upgraded)-FixVTS1.604ImgBurn I tried again and after using shrink on automatic, the file size is 4,571,732. is this too big? Should I take off the automatic setting? I then tried to drop the file into FixVTS1.603 but an error poped up stating the file was too big.I really dont understand the process but would love to get it right in my mind but I may be in over my head. Thank you. CMC
I was hoping I could get a real laymans version of the backup process. Some of the terms are not known to me and I get lost. Is the backup process in this order... DVDShrink3.2--DVDFab6--FixVTS1.603--ImgBurn? Can I just eliminate extras and all the other stuff listed on the left side of shrink and just keep the main movie to keep the size smaller? Thanbk you. CC
Rip with DVDFab Decrypter , Process with fixvts / vobblanker , Compress with dvd shrink / dvd rebuilder , Burn with imgburn And yes, if you want to, you can remove any unwanted sections you don't want using either dvd shrink / dvd rebuilder .
Ok...I thought you start with shrink. I guess I know now why it wasn't working.. I will try it. Thanks CC
Any further problems (there shouldn't be) please refer to the existing Iron Man thread linked to above
