IRSHELL 3.6

I have a 3.71 m33 -3 psp and im trying to put irshell 3.6 on my psp. I put everything in the rite place.The irshell folder in the root of my ms. I put the two irshell folders in the GAME folder.I even tried putting them in the GAME and the GAME150 folder. But when i try to run to it it always gives me this error. Sum error like 80020148.But before i run it there is always one corrupted icon in the ms in the Game section on the PSP. I enabled the M33 driver NO umd the recovery folder. I dont no y it doesnt work.

 

Look, No-UMD has nothing to do with corrupted icons. You have to enable Hide corrupted files or maybe it's called something else, but it looks like that. Also, the corrupted file is part of the working file, if you delete the corrupted file, IRshell won't work. if you think it's ugly just select in Recovery Mode what I said above. And No-UMD is used to play ISOs without the need of a UMD in the bay.

 

now when i run it now i get a black screen. wat can be the problem

 

Try disabling teh Hide Corrupt Icons and see what happens.

 

Download the newest version of IRSell: http://www.sendspace.com/file/32eqbx The oldest version of IRShell that supports 3.71 CFW is IRShell v3.7 so that probably is causing the problem...

Make sure to delete all other IRShell files before installing this one.

ok i downloaded the new irshell 3.8 but still i get the error 80020148. wat could be the problem?

 

Are you sure you have 3.71 M33-3?

hey, i just downloaded IRshell 3.81 but im not sure where to put it on the psp?
can anyone help

 

just drag everything to the root of the memory stick
3.81 has a no umd patch its in a patch folder in the irshell folder.Once irshell is installed navigate to the patch in the memory stick icon using irshell. Press x to activate it. With out this patch you get an error when you try to play a iso.

 

every time i select a game it says that there is no game inserted and to press any button to continue. where can i get that patch from so that i can play my iso's from irshell 3.81

No, your supposed to download the patch at that site you might already have it check the irshell folder in the root of your psp. go to irshell/patch/then it says patch 371 something like that. if you have it then good if not then download it. When you open ir shell go to the picture of the memory stick on the left corner. Highlight Irshell and press x, highlight patch and press x, highlight the patch for 3.71 and press x. It will ask you if your sure press x it take like 1 second and you're done. Now you will be able to run isos.

 

Two questions from a noob:

1. Wtf is irshell?
2. Will it work on 3.71 m33-4 cfw?

 

IRshell is a homebrew app which is capable of playing music while playing games, using your PSP while in USB mode and more..

It works on any CFW.
