is 12mbps normal for cable modem?

    hey my network connection for my internet is only 12 mbps is that normal or should it be more.also my cable modem is hooked up to my computer using a usb not ethernet which is better??

    it would depend on your connection speed your provisiond on with your internet provider. If I am correct ethernet is better due to it being faster. Hopefully this info helps

    if have either a netcard or onboard lan than try with net cable instead of usb. don't need to uninstall anything to do that as did that on a friend's daughter's computer.

    yeah i think im gonna hook it up through an ethernet instead thanks for help.
