I mean that is 2x on a dvd writer meant to be different to 2x on a cd writer? I ask this because im trying to burn dvd games at 2x and they are jumping/freezing. when i use 2x speed in dvd decrypter it writes at about 1500kb/sec i think, but then when i write cds at 2x on a different drive they write at 300kb/sec. is this right or is dvd decrypter burning it much faster than i want? thanks.
DVD burning speeds are faster (Data throughput wise). I burn all my PS2 games at X8, its about 11,000kb/s. I burn all CD's @ X40 (no cd's i get burn stabally at 52) and that is nowhere close to the DVD speed.
