Does more expensive media handle scratches etc. better

I've been using cheap unbranded which burns and initially plays back fine - but I heard stories about it being real susceptible to scratching, and I'm noticing this happen ???

scratches has nothing to do with good or bad media. scratches happen when you don't take care of your discs. to prevent it buy a case, store the discs and don't leave it out. i use both cheap and expensive media, both scrath and both don't.

You don't want to buy cheap media..If you care about the quality of your movies than you won't anyways. If you haven't had a problem than you are lucky and they will come trust me. Go ahead and buy the most expensive, Taiyo Yudens, and you will never have a problem.
