    Pls give me step by step how to rip DVD movie to my HDD so I can burn to a DVDR later capable of playing on standalone player? Is the copy n paste file method the same as ripping? If not, how do I ripp? Or if I get a prog software that backup the movie in my C drive first, is it the same as ripping? Kindly explain becos I have only 1 slot to read,write n burn.Thks

    My movies don't need to rip protection, so is the quality copy n paste the same as rip? If I burn will it play on standalone player or only on pc appreciate all comments pls

    hi

    if your dvdr plays on a pc / standalone player in theory it will work when copied! (depends on write speed keep 4x and dvdr media type used! - the dye info on dvdrs you bought)

    if no protection just use dvd decrypter on iso read then iso write

    done to dvdr

    Thks but I really don't want decrpytor. Can't I just copy and paste - I did that and it plays well in computer (VOB) but i was wondering if it'll play in standalone...Don't want to waste a disk.Is there a 1 click prog that will leave the file in computer till I need to burn? My Sonic can't

    That's just it, I am very nw here and can hardly understand. What do u mean by application? Do u mean what is my software to burn? Its Sonic record now. I just copy n paste. Shouldn't everything be in vob, inf etc. Ok, there is no prog out there that will do this like 1Click, DVD Clone 2 etc?ouldn't that be easier? BTW is ripping n copy paste the same thing. If not , which is clearer image. Thks

    hi

    ok i say dvd decrytper as it will make 1 image which it will burn that 1 file after

    {real easy and a free app!!!}

    copy and paste just makes thing harder for you!

    copy and paste is not the same as ripping all that big time copy protection out
