I recently bought a acoustic cd player. and when I back up one of my cd's using Tuff Disc. at 12X (which is slow) is jumps a bit.

And when I read a review about my cd player a man also said it jumped. but when I play the original it plays fine.

So does it mean I need higer quality cd's as Tuff disk aren't the best, but they where cheap.

cheap media is the cause of so many problems both with cdr & dvdr.
cheap is not always best. many burn errors are a result of using cheap media. E.G. out of a 50pk only 25 work then they don't work out to be so cheap. they do not last as long either some cheaper discs will only work for about 6-12 months, then they are useless.

get some quality discs like verbatim, sony or eqivelent & see if this resolves the jumping.

    i hope this helps
