Will it be possible to continue writing on a DVD+R disk after having written a Video DVD compilation on it? I want to burn a Video DVD disk and add AVI films to it later.
I added files to a Video DVD compilation, but it was a DVD+RW disk and Ashampoo BS 6 Free was "Formatting DVD" every time I burned additional files. Though, it seemed not to reburn the existing data.

If you write a DVD-Video format to DVD+R then you can't add any file to the disc, but if you write the DVD+VR format to DVD+R disc, then you can add file to the disc.

Thank you. Do you mean I can write a session in DVD+VR format and later I can add another session to this disk?
Do you know what software supports writing in DVD+VR format?

Yes, as I know no free software support this format. The Roxio My DVD, CyberLink Power directer support DVD+VR format.
