I would like to backup on my PC a DVD with a multitude of special features. My goal is to have one DivX or XVid file for every video segment (main movie, making-of, interviews, etc).

However, I do not want to chose only one audio track among the many available for each given video segment. I would also like to keep one or two sets of subtitles.

Question: is it possible to keep all this information within one neat DivX or Xvid file? If yes, how should I proceed?

PS: I know that I could make an image of the whole DVD with, say, DVD shrink, but I would rather find a solution that saves more space.

    Many thanks.

DivX file? Yes. Xvid file? No such thing really, other than a raw video stream. avi, divx, ogm, mkv, mp4, nut and dsm all support multiple audio streams and Xvid though.
