So I have a pretty nice little collection of PSP games in ISO/CSO form. But some of these games are pretty huge, a few well over 1gb. I'm a little bummed now that i didn't hit the sales for 4gb MS's now. Because with just my measly 2 giggers i'm only getting like 2 games a stick. Sometimes even just one. So is there a secret to shrinking these at all? I'm thinking more along the lines of "no". But i'm also thinking if you can shrink DVD's...why not ISO's?
You can compress an ISO using a ISO > CSO converter. I dont know of any REALLY good ones so i won't post a link. If you REALLY want a lot of games on your MS your going to have to find games that have music and videos taken from it. This would lead to a bad game however, so i suggest buying a bigger MS, or put one game at a time, beat it, then put the next one in (thats what i do ).
Yeah that's what i'm doing too...for now. Not a bad way to go i guess. For the most part i have 2 2gb MS's i put two smaller games and a movie on one, and 1 bigger game and a movie on the other. So it's not like i'm deprived of entertainment. LOL I'm just greedy and want more games per stick i guess. HeHe.
Select UMDGEN 4.00 http://umdgen.ps3news.com/utilities.html it will help you shrink slash delete Useless Garbage from them
I use UMDGEN v4 and it does cut them down in size, some ISO's are better than others- 70% of the time they reduce to almost half but other times (silent hill) barely get any smaller. So my advice buy a bigger card and still shrink and get even more, i currently have 8 on a 4g stick.
