Is It Possible To Use A Control Pad With Guitar Hero 3 ?

    I just got guitar hero 3 for pc & am trying to use a control pad instead of the keyboard without any luck :(

    Its really awkward using the keyboard as you need to press a button for the coloured thing & press the mouse for the strum.

    Which makes it VERY hard.

    Is there a patch or something to make a control pad compatible with the game or a way to set the keyboard so you dont need to strum & press a button at the same time ?

    hmmm...i suggest creating a macro and re-asigning the keys of the control pad to the keyboard keys.
    i'm sure there's some program out there that does that

    Xpadder is the best program I've found for mapping keys onto a game controller.
