I bought Nero 7 about 6 months ago, but didn't install it after reading so many people were having problems with it. Have they gotten most of the bugs out of it yet (is there a stable version out there)? I'm just sort of "polling" the group to see if its worthwhile to jump to version 7 yet or stick with 6 for now still? Thanks, Mike
Or you could go this way, uninstall nero 6 and run this clean tool: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/us/Nero_6_CleanTool.html Then instead of installing your nero 7 discs, you can install this stable version of nero 7.0.8.2 from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 All you have to do is enter your cdkey for the full version. Installing your discs and updating doesn't work.
Hi mikeb2 I'm w/ gurnard stick with 6.6.0.18. That's about the least troublesome Nero imho to date. Nero 7 still has a few things it needs to work out in several of the different apps. Each version of 7 has it own glitches in the different apps - sometimes fixed in a later release then something else is broken. Nero 7 has yet to thrill me Well the animated menus are kinda cool....
@pcaddict Don't think you can - unlike Nero 6 which has a package for burning rom, express etc and a package for Recode, Vision etc - Nero 7 install is one package.
