No! the latest version of nero is buggy. You are currently using the most stable version, so I would stick with it.
Well for me it was worth upgrading - I use Recode, Express & Burning Rom more than Vision. So this latest version fixed the hang ups, crashes and slowness I had w/ 7.0.8.2. Vision is faster but this is where some problems lie - .avi's are 1/2 gig (approx) bigger than in 7.0.8.2 - for what I use Vision for I can live with that for now. So far using Recode, Express and Burning Rom I've had no issues - probably burned close to 50 dvd's using these. This version was also supposed to fix the mp3 conversion to audio bit but didn't for me - still the same issue for me. Using Nero 6's mp3 .dll's didn't work on my end though either. So it depends on what you mainly use Nero for - the burning apps seem fine - the transcoding/converting apps not so fine. I almost feel like putting a disclaimer with the Nero 7 versions I still use 6.6.0.18 on 1 pc and 7.2.3.2b on another. Not totally thrilled w/ 7 yet. Just my 2 cents.
I am not finding Nero 7 to thrilling either, I have tried various versions and still went back to 6.6.0.18 which seems to work just fine with no bugs. In 7 I was having the skipping cd problems with the mp3 conversion, and I agree binkie the dll swap did not fix it. Also, the load time on NVE was to long, in 6 it comes right up, in 7 it seemed to have this hang time. Unless, I can see some fixes and better performance I will stay with version 6 for awhile longer.....it is no biggy not to have the latest and greatest at this moment.
