Is my computer ready for vista?

    i want to know some opinions if i should go to vista with these system specs or if i should wait for vistas first service pack to come out.

    My specs:
    2.4 core2quad processor
    3gb Ram 533Mhz
    300gb Hardrive 7200 rpm
    150gb Raptor x 10000 rpm hardrive
    8800 GTS 320mb Video card

    I'd recommend 2 more GBs on the RAM there buddy, Vista eats up RAM likes there's no tomorrow.

    Vista can't really use anything above 3-4 GB of ram due to the addressing limit (my Vista PC only sees about 3GB). Now if he was upgrading to a 64-bit version....

    By the way, you will pretty much run Vista smoothly with those specs.
