is my DvD burner problem???

    i own a destop samsung internal DVD burner already 1 year...
    right now it has no problem to burn the data into DVD-R. however it unable to do the data verification...it state read error and data verify failed......Sometimes whenever it read the data the burner make certain noise..and the DVD-R i try to read it on another computer it appear data cyclic redundacy check...i wondering is my nero software problem or my burner problem
    anyone can help me...thanks you very much !!!!

    What version of NEro are you using?
    What model is your drive?
    What media are you using?

    Actually, I don't believe that data verification is worth anything. I think that it verifies that data was written to your CD/DVD, but it doesn't verify that that data is correct.

    I may not have said this correctly, but I do believe that it is a waste of time doing the verification.
