probably a little bit of both. mostly internet though what kind of games? no offense, but your video card is a little outdated i think its maybe 3 generations old. you wont be able to play a lot of the newer games because they are very graphic demanding. btw, how old is this PC?
Your setup would have been a fine gaming computer four years or so ago. I'd stick with browsing, word processing, and games that aren't hardware intensive.
That would be okay for checking my email. J/K Not much in the way of todays games though. You might need to upgrade if you want to play something like The Elderscrolls 4.
yeah im hoping to buy a new graphics card any suggestions on the best one for agp cause pci is slow "dont know why i bought pci over apg" . Also the games i whant to play are gta san andreas and half life 2 {i have not test them yet}. the pc is 3 years old Also my cpu is overclockable so can that help
Don't worry about overclocking your CPU with hopes of better gaming performance. The best AGP card for gaming (as opposed to rendering) is the 7800GS - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143046 - and will handle GTA and HL2 wonderfully. http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html?modelx=33&model1=543&model2=574&chart=197 http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html?modelx=33&model1=543&model2=574&chart=213 http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html?modelx=33&model1=543&model2=574&chart=225
