i am burning .avi files as a data disc and when i go to play them in my dvd player they are all pixelated and totally unwatchable! i thought it was my brand of cd-r's but i tried a different brand and it's not that, and i know it's not my dvd player because oth disc's i have mad play fine. is it my burner takin a dump on me? it is 3 years old and i have used the crap out of it! any help or info would be great.
Run the Nero CD/DVD speet tool. Try the "disk quality" and "scan disk" on one of these burned CD's and see what shows up.
