hello my brother just got a new platnum cube all shiney and pretty but as i have some US games he wanted to play he put the Action Replay disk in the drive but the bloddy thing wont read it... i thought maybe it was the laser drive so i took it out and replaced it with the whole laser drive of my old dead cube and that didnt help at all same error the disk can not be read look at the nintendo manual? the action replay disk is fine and works on all our other cubes. any one had this problem before and if so is there a solution. and if he gets it modded with a qoob pro or a viper extreme will there be problems as this cube seems to be very fussy.

what is the region of the ar is it a u.s one or a u.k one here is why if it is a u.s one it won't boot on another console from another country due to region coding sorry you need to purchase a action replay from the country the gamecube came from and no a mod chip won't help i have seen to many of this nice silver looking gamecube become doorstops to mod chips so i wouldn't recommend this
