    Hi there,

my first post so excuse any ignorance.

Ive just burnt an iso to a dvd-r, the file is a Lego Star Wars USA version.

The media used normally works fine, is my problem the fact that the file is a USA version trying to be used on my UK Xbox. I presumed that my mod chip (Executer2.3 solderless) would allow imports to be played but am I missing something obvious.

    cheers

usually it would be if your tv can handle the ntsc signal, that would cause the problem. Most modded xbox's will play both pal and ntsc...it would probably be your tv that can't display the signal.

Thanks - it doesnt seem to be a problem with display, the screen doesn't go black it just sits at the Evox launching page and doesnt proceed. Tried burning it again last nite an dnon luck. ALso tried using dvd2xbox to put it on the hd and for some reason it wont copy all the files so again no luck!

if it hangs,I would say try patching it first.....and if that doesn't work, well we'll go from there.

    Try using Enigmah Videoswitch.

The TV will show [bold]anything[/bold] that the xbox diplays. The solution probably lies in changing system settings / game region from pal to Auto.

Thats the beauty of playing on a computer monitor, you almost always have pal and ntsc support :) Try to trouble shoot your situation that way.
