Does Plextor make the best CD and DVD burners? I want the best burners on the market . What do you guys recommend.
I will only have Plextor burners. Other folks have different preferences, so my opinion is just that...an opinion.
I have used a number of Plextor drives and never had a problem with one. I currently have a PX-712A and plan on upgrading to the PX-716 in the near future.Do some research and if you buy make sure it is from a reputable dealer with a good return policy in case you have a problem. Here are a couple of links to check out http://www.cdrlabs.com/reviews/index.php?reviewid=231 http://pcworld.pricegrabber.com/rating_getprodrev.php/product_id=2695148/id_type=M http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=27-131-327&depa=0 check out the reviews while your at it
I have a plextor 708A. It has done over 150 backups and burns, and still works flawlessly. Its quiet and fast. From what I've read aounrd afterdawn plextor makes the best dvd burners, pioneer is 2nd to it.
I'm with GrandpaBW I'll only buy Plextors because they've always given me outstanding performance and never let me down. They're solid, they're quiet and definitely worth the money if you ask me.
