For mobile phones it says that when using bluetooth, that the phone should be away from the body. ps3 controllers use bluetooth as well. And since its a controller, most people will have it close to their bodies, most likely near their stomach when sitting down. Wouldn't that affect our body since bluetooth is harmful?
First, though there has been a great deal of research, the evidence pointing to any health hazard from radiation in the 800 MHz to 2 GHz range at the power levels used by mobile phones is, at worst, equivocal. This suggests that if there is any risk at all, it is very small. While a phone needs to transmit with enough power to reach a base station antenna that may be a couple of miles away, Bluetooth has a nominal range of 30 feet.
Well that guy who was talking about cell phones has it. I mean a cell phone needs to go how far to get data so its that much more powerfull. Where a xbox/ps3 controller like 30 feet its no biggie.
but he is talking about antenna. That the anteena has radiation and has to reach the base station antenaa. I get that part. But i am talking about bluetooth not phone antenna radiation. Phone manuals say to keep fone away from body when using bluetooth.
But listen dude, the ps3 bluethooth only has enought power to go like 30 feet. Thats not enought to hurt you.
yes i know that. mobile phones have roughly the same strength bluetooh. Their bluetooth is NOT to reach base station antennas. Its to connect to pcs and other fones. so its for short distnace like the ps3 controller. And fone manuals say to keep fone away from body when using bluetoooth. And if it applies to phones then it also will apply to the controller since it has bluetooh as well. ps...i am not talking about the "ANTENNA" radiation from the phone. i am just talking bluetooth.
