I want to play video files on my Archos 605 to as near dvd quality as possible. I am using Shrink 32 to reduce size by cutting out menus etc and this is saved on computer as a vob file. Is this vob file quality exactly the same as the original DVD if no compression has been used or is there always some change using Shrink? I am aware I can "record" straight from DVD but I want to reduce size of file, as said before by cutting out unwanted stuff. Thanks

as long as no compression is used there should be no drop in quality
