I have a question, someone I know recently said that this creditcard got frauded for a large sum, he said that the way it was done was that someone purchased a number of Iphones and contracts using his credit card and the in which they were able to do it had something to do with the fact that he had given his IMEI to someone.
Now I was wondering, is it dangerous to post one's IMEI number online, like to these forums?

Just yesterday I requested an unlock code but found today that this is not available for my phone model, so I went looking for other tools and I found this website:
    http://unlock.nokiafree.org/
which does apparently calculate DCT-4 codes. I would just like to make sure that it's more or less safe for me to actually put the IMEI into the form on that page.

    Thanks guys.
