is the world cup over for england if ROONEY is crocked?

    hello

    he may be going,but what use is he going to be?,i know you shouldnt rely on one player,but rooney is one of those who can win a game for you.
    it looks like the cling-on forehead sven is going to take him regardless,just like he did beckham,when it was obvious he had a screw loose.
    what about owen?,who would you replace him with?,defoe seems to be the best from a bad bunch

    crouch & defoe up front,jeese...what is english football coming to?

    Well this is my full view:

    First off all rooney is a good striker who undoubtly would have been a great help in the world cup. Not essential.

    BUT personally i think that rooney first of all gave us a bit of hope we had a new revitalised team not the same old same old team.

    Also a lot of fans thought that he would lead us through. This is a huge blow to fans. Which, of course, cant be good!
