hey guys i was wondering what you guys think of the xbox? do you feel like it has come to an end? i say this because hardly any games have been coming out, and if a game is released it would be some lame game that came from a movie or something like shrek. ps2 still seems to be strong even though the ps3 is out, but that does not seem to be the case for the xbox. it seems like total support of the xbox for game companies is gone.
acctually, as far as developing more games for the xbox i think the developers are working more on the newer systems. the only thing i have heard bout the xbox is that 1 more football game is comming out and thats it. but scence there is already a giant lybrary of games out to play, and i wont belive that anyone has played every single game ever made for it. like me i got 50 xbox games and have only started playing about 6. but who knows, we might get suprised and more xbox games might show up. and yea, the ps2 does still have a strong lead over xbox as far as game releases go but, its starting to slow down also. ive got maybe 100 ps2 games and finished only 11 so any game to me is a new one..
no future game releases. Their is actually an article on the death of the xbox 1 and how misused or unused it was in a recent oxm mag. It's written by people invovled with the development of xbox and is worth the read if you can get a hold of it.
oh okay thanks alot, i appreciate it. yeah with them going out so early and with ps2 still releasing games that i actually want to play makes me think that i made a wrong move investing in an xbox. i pretty disappointed but then again what are you gonna do, what can you do?
With Madden 08 out allready,marks the death of the original Xbox Last game I bought for it was Conker Live and Reloaded,so I could start saving up for the 360.It sucked that it didnt get support of MS first party games after conker,but without releasing the 360 early who knows where the 360 would of stood right now
i'd say it's dead just due to the fact it has been pulled from many retailers shelves, and that hardware manufacturing has stopped long long ago.
After the 360 came out we all knew this was going to happen. Since 2003 the xbox has been exploited without remorse due to security flaws of its operating system that allows a modified bios to alter its behavior. Buying a PS2 this late instead of moving onto a next gen console is wrong move; unless you want modify the console.
