Is there a better way to remove previews (and other titles that play before the main menu)?

I'm shrinking a movie. I want to take something out, so I use "replace title with image". If I do this for a preview, or something that comes before the main menu, it just hangs on the image, and I have to press menu. Is there a way to take those things out while not interfering with the autoplay of the dvd? It's annoying, so I've been leaving the previews in. It would be perfect if I could take them out, and still have the dvd go about it's business, playing like it normally would.
