IS there a difference when burning a CD

    When burning a CD(40x14x40) will there be a difference if I lowered the speed from 40 to 32. In other words does the quality of the music sound different. Will the sound be sharper or more clear if I lowered the speed?

    also a lot of players won`t be able to read the disc if done too fast.

    some of mine won`t read anything more than 4x !!

    ...and some won't burn anything less than 24x !

    ..and some work fine when smoked at 44x.
