is there a excellent software converting dvd to mp4(ipod)

I want to convert some dvds to my ipod
then i can see the films anytime and anywhere
but i try some promgrams whicn can not satisfy me
can you make me a suggestion?

Bobo2010, personally I would recommend using SlySoft's CloneDVD Mobile, it seems to give the best results. Nero has a solution (Nero Recode) that can also do the same thing, its quailty is (as far as I can tell) about as good as Slysoft's CloneDVD Mobile.

 

Nero Digital via Nero Recode 2 can convert any dvds into QuickTime/MP4 (Ipod). I've done that before and it's pretty easy once you've done twice or more. In addition, I think Nero Digital gives you the best quality too, in my humble opinion.
