Is there a free DVD burning program that can make .avi into a playable dvd?

    hey, I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes. Is there a free DVD burning program that can make .avi into a playable dvd?
    I used to have Nero but it got deleted and lost, so something simular to that would be great!

    Yeah, dvdstyler is good, and you can try ONES too. They two are good burners.
    And i have tried any video converter as well, but i use it to convert my video files to my ipod, haha
    However, recently i do not have many video files to convert, because my cute 80g Apple product is demaged ;(
