Talking about blocking IP adresses, say im playing CounterStrike or any other Steam hosted game. Will any of those programs block my IP so i cant get banned from peoples servers? or do i need something else for that?

If you want to block your IP, you can try Tor, at http://tor.eff.org/ . It's an anonymous proxy system, it's open source, clean, and free! I use it with Firefox, it works well and definitely blocks your IP!
To set it up just use the instructions on the site, they tell how step-by-step.
