A couple of months back I ripped Gradius V and saved it to .mds and .mdf (.ecm) files.

Is there a way that I can play this backup? I have freemcboot 1.8 running. If not, is there a way that i can convert these to iso?

D'ont know if I'll be of much help, but I downloaded and extracted Tomb Raider for PS emu and ended up with an .mdf and .mds file. I used Daemon Tools to convert them to a bootable disc in order to play. After they were converted or w/e I started the emulator and loaded the .mdf file as the cd image and I was able to play the game fine. I don't know what system Gradius V is for, but this is what I did for TR tho.
