I am trying to salvage a old large video libary of burned disks. Many are toast more can be recovered with effort and a few have been problematic. I have one DVD that looks like the VOBs are in good shape as they are the expected size. I create the ISO files with DVDshrink. The graphical interface show all the VOBs are not in the video. Is there some menu app that might be able to piece the parts together. I tried FixVTS but that was useless in this case.

    Thanks!

If you mean the .IFO files, try opening the VIDEO_TS folder in PgcEdit;if it can't read the .IFO it will offer to try loading from the (backup) .BUP file.

Great! I did not know what the bup files were. That is very useful. This is an old faded disk. I have a tool that will highlight differences between 2 files. It is used for text but it will do hex. I will fool around this it.

    Thanks!
