I have a few episodes of a TV series I downloaded in decent quality, but it has one problem. there is a very annoying humming noise coming from the background of the audio track. Im sure just reducing the bass or upping the treble would fix this, or even just noise reduction in general, but does anyone know of a program that I can do this with? its an mp4 file. Its quite annoying not being able to watch these episodes without having the volume at a low level so i cant hear the humming
You can load the file in GSpot and will tell you what audio you have. In order to remove the noise, you need to extract the audio. You can use the AudioExtractor to extract the audio track as an mp3. http://www.wikihow.com/Extract-Audio-from-MP4-Files-with-AOA-Audio-Extractor Then you use Audacity to clean the file. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nwwje8jUTcE http://www.geeks.com/techtips/2006/techtips-10dec06.htm After you save the new audio file, you mux it back into the mp4 container with Yamb. Post back if you have questions.
