I bought a usb cable for my Motorola E815 phone, and I can't find any programs like bitpim that are compatible with it. I also heard that you need a driver but I didn't recieve one with the usb cord. If anyone could help me please do!
Hi Kell, Try below: Wallpaper you can send any picture to your phone with http://www.pix2fone.com Ringtones and pictures and games can be sent to your phone with http://funformobile.com No cable needed, sends a link to your phone To get ringtones for your phone, check http://http://vzw.ztango.com/vzwtones click on the little purple icon face thingy > it plays in windows media player for you > click file > save media as > and save to yer desktop. Then, bingo bango, use funformobile to upload that to your phone. This is all assuming you don't have a data cable, etc. for your phone, and is the most painless way. If you DO have a data cable, ringtone makers include BVRP's ringtone media studio, and also Xingtone and Gold Ringtone maker...search these forums and the net and u can use those if u like. But the options I gave u above might be easiest.
Thank you! But I will have to go the data cable route because I have verizon and apparently we can't have ringtones or wallpapers sent to us..which is complete bs..but i am going to search for the ringtone makers you listed. Thanks again!
I dun no squat about verizon, but at funformobile.com they DO have a selection for it in the upload ringtones page... Don't know if it would pop a message on the webpage that it isn't supported, but you may wanna take a shot n e way. **edit here is a direct quote from funformobile.com on the ringtone upload page...this leads me to believe that you CAN send with Verizon fones. Again, I could be wrong, but that's NEVER happened before. ;-) *MP3 format is supported primarily by the latest versions of Motorola Phones, Nokia Phones, Smart Phones, and Verizon MMS Phones. Some Verizon MMS phones have a size limitation of 30k
