I know this might sound like a stupid question but is there anyway to run a viper multi-boot iso without having a viper mod chip installed? I run my backups by streaming the gcos 1.4 bios to the cube using PSO and im having great succes doing that.Howver i would very much like to get multi-boot iso's running.I am not confident in my ability to solder so i have not chipped my cube but is there pehaps something i could stream to the cube that would allow me to run a multi boot iso?

Is there anyway to convert a version of the cobra bios to a .dol file and stream it to the cube then use that to load multi-boot iso?

I have thought that too... you need Cobra source to make a dol from it... and unfortunately, it's not open-source :(

But there's an another way too, but you can only fit 6 games, but that's enought, i guess:
Get a Zelda collector's edition, and replace those games with what games you want.
You need .gcm to .tgc converter, here:
    http://www.freewebtown.com/make86/files/gcm-to-tgc-to-gcm.zip

I had this thing to work myself too, only minus is that it has Zelda-theme and you have to remember what Zelda was replaced with what game =)

Quezacotl I have got my zelda collectors edition on pc and im interested to see learm how to make a multiboot iso of sorts from it using gsmtotgc.I understand how u change the gcm to tgc and replace the files in the files in collectors edition but u can only replace the files with ones of equal size or smaller.so the best u could make realisticly is a 5 game disk.Just wanted to no what games uv got this to work with and if u can save?

Ow and did you change the file size in TOC, im guessing no u didnt

I think you use GCtool... i have not tried with it, so i did'nt knew that it needs to be smaller than there were...

I made that i extracted image, replaced games, built image again with GCISOcreator, then used FSTfix.

Hmm... games i putted there was Animal Crossing, Zelda FS, Luigi's Mansion. I did'nt replaced Majora's Mask. And right now i dont remember what else there was :D

And of course saves work. Collector's Edition is only booting games.

And what's TOC? Do you mean FST? I never used TOC name, always File Symbol Table... And no, i did'nt edited it, FSTfix does that...

    Here goes a quick guide:
    1. audiofix, streamfix, etc. games if needed BEFORE u add them to Zelda image.
    2. Extract image with GC-Tool with apploader etc.
    3. Replace games(use gcmtotgc to convert to tgc)
    4. Open GCISOCreator:
    a. choose "recover header information from ISO" and choose Zelda CE, then next
    b. choose apploader(by show all files) and main program(.dol that u extracted with GC-Tool)
    c. rest is self explanatory
    5. Then FSTfix it. fstfix 1.3f is best. no need to streamfix, only FSTfix.

Sory to keep bugging u about this, but i cant get it worken. Whenever im rebiulding it with Gamcube iso creator and it gets to the end of asking u for information, wen it give u a run down of the info u entered and the files u selected and is about to start the dam thing just crashes.Did this happen to you, and if so how did you fix it.

Ive tired it on another pc and it crashed at the same time as it did before. Both pc's were windows xp, could it be that this programme is not compatable with windows xp or something. Or could you be using a different version or sumthing. Ive tried searchen for other versions but i cant find anything.

Oh, yea, i forgot to tell, GCISOCreator works properly in root, so example C:\, so put it in root, and all that is part of that project.

    Edit:

And of course image limit is 1,38G, or whatever it is... u have to shrink those games that u put in.

ive been very busy lately and havent much time to persue this so its only recently ive started working on it again. Ive followed everything you have said but i just cant get it to work. Ive repacked the game now and used fstfix but as soon as i select a game to play it just stops and nothing loads. Grrr, its just not co-operating for me.
