Is there anyway to softmod my XOBX without the games or modchip?

    I do not have Tom CLance Splinter Cell, Action Replay, or a modchip. But I want to softmod my XBOX without them. Is there a wayÉ

    Sorry, I'm a complete noob at this. I know this will sound completely stupid, but does softmod allow you to play backup games?
