Is this a burner problem or not?

    Can someone please help me with this. When i download a movie and burn it it says its completed successfully but when i goto watch it it doesnt play the last 10 minutes or so. I am burning with decrypter does anybody have an answer????

    That has happened to me before.It could many things causing that 1.media-try another brand better quality or get-if u got + or vice versa 2.burning speed try slowing it down a bit. 3. your dvd player try watching your movie on another player see if it works some players have trouble with burnt discs. 4.software try another program to burn your movies.5. last but not least your burner. get one of your buddies to burn you the same movie with the same discs and see if it works.

    I would also consider reducing the target burn size to 4300 so that you don't burn too close to the edge of the disc. This will cause freezing and pixelations in a burn.

    Quality media too. Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxells.

    why does it matter if i use a dvd-r or dvd+r what is the difference. And how do i reduce the target burn size????
