i would say that its a 3rd party faceplate not a proper sony one but i could be wrong there perfectly fine though if it is 3rd party it wont damage the psp and will fit perfectly as there laser scanned of the original one there there a exact copy the buttons should be fine there done in the same way as the faceplate but iv always had a problem with other buttons they never seem to fit right but they should be fine
