is this a good chip?

    i just bought the xchanger (very cheap) all i need it for is to lock my hard drive into my xbox becouse i was bein stupid with a softmod so will this chip be able to booty without a hdd and lock it for me??? if not what chip should i buy???

    will i be able to boot with a unlocked xbox with the xchanger though?

    it will boot unlock hdd. I dont know xchanger though.
