Is this a good deal????????

Apple iMac with Mac OS 9.1
320MB Memory 5GB Hardrive and keyboard and mouse I picked it up for £43 of ebay. But the main question I have is are there any Final Fantasy games for it or if not any emulator that could play either PSOne or PS2 games on a mac.

 

there is a emulator but your mac isn't fast enough you need a mac mini or newer macintosh

 

So is there anyway I could upgrade my memory or graphics card to upgrade my mac?

As I am new to the mac and have been bought up with windows based systems and just felt that the mac was a much better more stable platform.

check the system requirements on the final fantasy game(s). you may also need to upgrade to OS X. and you will for sure need the RAM upgrade. the 5g HD makes it sound like you have an older imac. i believe those are pc133.. biggest chip would be a 512mb. those machines do have a chip soldered in.. so your max is only the 512mb plus whatever apple soldered in.

it may just be cheaper to get a new imac.. i know apple does have some Refreshed (refurbished) ones.

just need to verify what games and what machine you have

 

no you cannot upgrade this mac the processor is soldered onto the main board thhe system is to slow sorry
