My current cdrw is crap in every possible way. I am looking at upgrading it for something better, that is quite cheap. Is this 'CDRW-LIT-525224 LiteOn 52X52X24 CDRW' any good? It would mainly be used for game backups. Thank you for any help
at http://www.elby.ch/en/products/clone_cd/writers/l.html#liteon it has a list of LiteOn burners but the one you are talking about must be fairly new because it is not on the list but most of the other LiteOn burners are 2 sheep so that might be a good sign.
Pound for pound, the Lite-On LTR 52x is the best "all in one" burner on the market at present. You can backup Safedisc, SecuROM, and many audio cd protections as well (Key2Audio, Cactus Data Shield). This drive has very fast dae and accuracy too m8. Buy it, you can't go wrong.
