    Intel p 4 3.0 g h z

    h t technology

    core - cedar mill

    800 m h z f s b

    2 m b l 2 cache

    I am an amd guy but thats probly going to be the cpu im going to get in my new pc the 2MB cache sounds sweet better then my 512kb

    if u have the money i would go for the dual core, it will be worth it in the future for performace.

    You might be just as good getting a Pentium with HT technolgy. Word has it that the hyperthreading technolgy is essentially a second processor...in a sence. I read that at PCWorld.com. Tried to find the article for you, but I couldn't.

    that has got HT Technolgy raceman, and it tricks the computer into thinking is has got a second core, when it hasnt.

    Well as long as it gives me more speed and more power, I don't care what it has in it.

    I have an intel P4 3.2 with HT and what it does is do two instructions at once so i guess if you have the dual core with HT it would do 4 instructions at once and that is super fast

    If you want to build a cheap and I mean cheap Dual core computer buy the Pentium D 805. It's only $140 on newegg. It only has a FSB of 533 and runs at 2.66 ghz but sopposedly people have got them up to 3.7 ghz.
