Hello, I convert my orginal dvd music to WAV so that i can listen in the car, i want to ask is there any programs out there... that able me to fine tune the music before i convert to WAV something like an Equalizer adjustment???
DVD Decrypter can rip audio streams from DVDs directly to files. With foobar2000 (diskwriter) you can do many things like decoding (e.g. .AC3 - separate input plugin needed), volume adjustment (replaygain, dynamics compression and/or limiting), equalization, 5.1 -> stereo conversion, resampling to 44.1kHz using high quality algorithms. If available, use uncompressed LPCM audio stream as source.
Currently i am using a program called "Dvd Audio Ripper" and i am quite happy with the outcome, just need to adjust the sound to my taste. Dvd Decrypter take to long to rip and apart from that i can't rip the songs i wanted (selection) into WAV. So yeah is there any another software i can use, just to tune the WAV sound and i can use "Dvd Audio Ripper" to convert or converte into WAV sound then adjust the sound to my taste???? Cheers
Not everybody is happy with the audio quality of DVD Audio Ripper. With the proposal of "tigre", you get a much better result and it gives you the possibilities you need. There are a lot of (commercial) audio editors with an equalizer function, like GoldWave.
